SWITZERS RUGBY ASSOCIATION is an elite seven-a-side (7s) Olympic rugby team based in Geneva Switzerland, founded in 2010. Formerly called the Geneva Barbarians (2010 -2013). we play tournaments internationally at the highest level of the game.
In 2014 we launched a new development that plays in the Swiss national Championship the SWISS SUPER SEVENS.
Established in Geneva Switzerland in 2010.
Playing high level international tournaments including: ROMA SEVENS and AMSTERDAM SEVENS.
2013 - played ROMA SEVENS Semi Finals vs FRANCE.
2013 - beat the Swiss National Sevens team 45 - 7.
2014 - won 40th Edition of the NEUCHATEL SEVENS.
2014 - played ROMA 7s Quarter Finals vs SOUTH AFRICA.
Established a new development team to play in Switzerland.
Affiliation to Geneva & Swiss Rugby Associations in process.
Assisting Geneva Rugby to run 2015 GENEVA SEVENS.
Assisting Swiss Federation to run 2014/2015 SWISS SUPER SEVENS national championship.
